Introduction
Hi! My name is Brad, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Clarkston, Michigan. I provide in-person therapy to individuals and couples in Clarkston, Grand Blanc, and surrounding areas of Oakland and Genesee County. I also offer convenient virtual therapy for clients across Michigan and Indiana who may need flexibility around their busy schedules or have difficulties coming to the office.
I specialize in working with adult individuals and couples who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives and relationships. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship conflict, or just feeling stuck — therapy can be a powerful place to start healing and growing.

Education and Credentials
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over a decade of experience. I hold:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan (2010)
A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University (2013)
Experience
My career began with individual therapy for children on the Autism Spectrum, which taught me the value of patience, connection, and customized support. I later worked with families in their homes through a non-profit in South Bend, Indiana, where I also served as a trainer, supervisor, and regional manager. These experiences deepened my systemic perspective and strengthened my ability to help people through life transitions and relational challenges.
Since 2021, I’ve been providing outpatient therapy to adults and couples — first in Valparaiso, Indiana, and now in Clarkston and Grand Blanc, Michigan. My work focuses on helping individuals build confidence, navigate anxiety and depression, and work through self-esteem and substance use concerns. I also support couples — whether newly committed or in long-term relationships — to improve communication, rebuild trust, and reconnect emotionally.
Therapeutic Approach
I use an integrative, evidence-based approach tailored to each client’s needs. This often includes:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge negative thought patterns and build healthier coping strategies
Solution-Focused Therapy to create momentum and promote lasting personal growth
Family Systems Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy to improve healthy functioning between partners and family members
My goal is always to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface, develop practical tools, and move toward a more grounded and empowered version of yourself.
Therapy for Individuals
I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space for adults to work through emotional challenges, relationship issues, and personal growth goals. Common areas I help with include:
Anxiety and depression
Grief and burnout
Self-esteem and confidence issues
Substance use
Life transitions and relationship struggles
Whether you’re dealing with stress, low self-worth, or feeling stuck, I’m here to help you move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
Therapy for Couples
In couples therapy, I help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and reconnect emotionally and physically. Together, we work to:
Understand and break unhealthy cycles
Learn to truly listen and express needs
Strengthen emotional safety and shared goals
Develop practical tools for lasting connection
Whether you’re navigating conflict, feeling distant, or want to deepen your bond, I provide structured support to help you grow together.
My Therapy Style
My style is supportive, down-to-earth, and proactive. I’m here to offer both compassion and practical tools, and I tailor each session to your unique goals and needs.
Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating — I believe it should feel honest, collaborative, and focused on what matters most to you.
A Personal Note
I grew up in Clarkston and feel honored to serve the community I know and love. Some of my best memories come from bowling at Cherry Hill Lanes, skiing or seeing concerts at Pine Knob, and enjoying food at local spots like The Union and Mr. B’s. I understand the small-town feel — and the constant traffic and construction!
In a field largely represented by women, I bring a grounded male perspective that many clients — especially men and couples — find relatable and helpful. I became a therapist because I genuinely care about helping people feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.
